Our team consists of highly skilled, professional staff who are fully credentialed in accordance with Department of Health and Ambulance Victoria guidelines. They work under the scope of the Victorian Non-Emergency Clinical Practice Protocols, with oversight from our Clinical Oversight Committee. Whether we're transporting patients locally or coordinating with international air ambulance services, our staff ensures that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
- Stretcher Transfers: Stretcher services are provided to patients who require treatment, monitoring, observation or supervision during transport at either Low, Medium or High acuity levels. Our modern stretcher vehicles are equipped with powered stretchers and powerload systems, Lifepak Monitors/Defibrillators, Lifting cushions and a suite of patient handling and mobility devices.
- Bariatric Transfers: A service for the transport of patients who weigh up to 450kgs or have unusual body proportions (eg. large girth) that makes standard stretcher transport impractical.
- Clinic Transfers (Walker/Hoist): A service for ambulant (walker) or wheelchair bound patients. Our hoist vehicles are equipped with specialised Ricon wheelchair hoists and Q'Straint restraint systems.
- Multi Purpose/Mass Casualty Ambulance Vehicle: Mercedes Cab Chassis equipped with both Ferno Powerflexx and Ferno Inx stretchers, Ferno Venice powered stair chair, Ricon hoist, Mangar Camel patient lifting device, bariatric wheelchair, extended seating capacity, Hover jack and specialist bariatric extrication equipment.
- Tailored Patient Transport Solutions for Private Clients: We offer tailored patient transport solutions for private clients, providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transport for a variety of needs. Whether it's moving from residence to residence, assisting with relocations for aged care, supporting medical appointments, or transporting patients with comorbidities when family members are unable to assist, we ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for every patient during their journey.
- Global Reach Aeromedical: Air Ambulance and Medical Repatriation One of the key strengths of PSV is our ability to collaborate with trusted air ambulance providers and international medical repatriation services. This enables us to offer comprehensive transport options for patients who need to be transferred not only within Victoria or Australia, but also globally. Whether you're arranging for a medical repatriation from overseas or need to coordinate an air ambulance transfer, PSV’s extensive network ensures a seamless, professional, and compassionate experience.
